1 Corinthians 14:15, "I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my mind".
This is what I strive for whenever I sing praises of Thanksgiving to God, whether in our Sunday morning worship service, or singing in a community setting with sister churches/groups. Having a clear mind, a clean heart, and a spirit totally surrendered to God in worship, is what we all should strive for, through the cleansing power of Jesus.
